Digital Earth Australia Landsat Collection Upgrade
Digital Earth Australia is nearing completion of the Geoscience Australia Landsat Collection 3 upgrade project. This is the culmination of 2 years of work to reprocess our foundation datasets using improved source data from the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
For more information on the differences between Geoscience Australia Collection 2 and GA Collection 3 source data, please see Geoscience Australia Landsat Collection Upgrade webinar.
Users of Geoscience Australia Collection 2 are encouraged to use Geoscience Australia Collection 3 data. Please see the following DEA Notebooks for using Geoscience Australia Collection 3 Surface Reflectance NBART data, Fractional Cover and Water Observations.
